Booking a Flight

Select a destination you wish to travel to. If the airport/city you wish to travel to is not in the drop down list, please send an email to us and we will try to add your airport/city. **Take note that due to the recent increase in credit card fraud in the airline industry, we are only offering flights from Singapore and we only accept Singapore issued 3D enabled credit cards for credit card bookings. If you wish to use a non-Singapore issued card, please contact us for more options.

1) Select your date of departure and Return date Or 2) Use the calendar button to select a departure and return date 3) Select the number of Pax you are booking for. **Children is anyone who is below the age of 12 at the time of travel. Infants are anyone who is below 12 months at the time of travel and need not have a ticket. 4) Select your preferred airline you wish to fly with. **If you don’t mind any airlines and want to compare lowest prices, just leave it at ‘All Airlines’
5) Select your preferred Class . Choice of ‘Economical’ – cheaper fares, less leg room ‘Business’ – more expensive, more leg room ‘First’ – most expensive, peaceful sleep 6) Once you have confirmed the 5 steps above, click on search and be patient

1) At a quick glance, you can compare and see the cheapest flights between the different airlines.

3) Click on Reserve to proceed with the bookings

Trip review
Check to make sure that everything is correct. If you need to make changes to your flight bookings, just click the Back button, else click on Next to proceed to the booking engine.

To carry on with the booking, you need to login with your Scenic account.
Simply enter your username and password and click on sign in
If you have forgotten your username or password, just click on the ‘Forgot username?’ or ‘forgot password?’ links and an email with the details will be sent to the email that you signed up with
If you do not have an account with Scenic, click on Create an Account and get one. Check the FAQ’s for Creating a Scenic Account for more details. ** When you click on ‘Create an Account’, a new tab/window will open to the registration page, do not close the flight booking window or you will lose all your flight details. After you have activated your Scenic account, use your new username and password and continue with the booking

Once you have been successfully validated by our system, you will be presented with this page.
1) Check to make sure that all your personal particulars fields are correct. Please take note that your Surname and Given name can only be edited from ‘Edit my account details’ in the Scenic membership page , not at this booking module.
2) Select a payment option
Credit or cash/cheque
3) Make sure your contact details are current. This is important for the airlines to contact you if there are any last minute changes to your booking
4) Type of visit choice of Leisure, business etc.
Scroll down and click on Next to proceed.

Payment by Credit card
Enter your Visa or Master card number, no need for spaces or –
Enter your name as shown on your card
Select the Expiry date of the card
And enter your CVV number (located at the back of your card)
** Only 3D enabled and Singapore Issued cards can be used
Click Next (a popup box will appear confirming your card details, just click ok)

This is where the 3D Authentication will kick in. You will be sent an SMS or an email with the One Time Password.
Simply enter them here and click on Submit.
If you did not receive any OTP, you must contact your credit card issuing bank and find out why

Proceed to the next screen
A final details page is presented to you with our booking terms and conditions, if you need to make any amendments to your credit card details, you can do it on this screen.
If everything is in order, scroll down and tick the Agreement checkbox.
Then click on complete Reservation

If everything is in check, you will be presented with this page. An email of this page will also be sent to you. You can print this page for future references. These are all important numbers you need to have when speaking to our customer service offers on refunds.
Click exit to return back to our website

1) This is your PNR number, use this number when you need to speak to us about change of flights
2) Check that your total price is correct, if there is any error please do not hesitate to contact us
3) If you have booked for more than 1 person, you can send this pages details to them by entering their email address and clicking on ‘Send email’

Errors
If you encounter an error while booking, you will see this page. Go back to the search page and check your details again.
Common errors and pitfalls
Flight seats has been snapped up (too slow), select another seat , timing , carrier
Credit card name, number, date of expiry, cvv is wrong, check and verify
Mandatory fields are filled up wrongly -funny symbols or numbers etc

Registering for Membership

Click on the Login button located on the top right hand corner of the screen. (There is a padlock icon beside)
This is the login button which Scenicians can use to login to their account. |

After clicking on Login, a login dialog box will appear.
If you are already registered, simply enter your username and password in the box and click on the green arrow button.
If you cannot remember your password, click on ‘Forgot your password?’ , an email will be sent to your registered email address with instructions on how to retrieve your password

For new registration, click on ‘Create an account’

You will get to the member registration page.
1) Select your salutations
2) Enter your First name (eg.If your passport says ‘John Tan Ah Kow’ or ‘Tan Ah Kow, John’ where John is your first name and Tan is your last name and Ah Kow is your dialiect/middle name, you should enter John Ah Kow as your First name. If you do not follow this format, you flight tickets might not get issued. If you have any questions about this, please contact us)
3) Enter your Last name
4) Enter your date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format. (eg. If your date of birth is 7th Dec 1978, enter ‘07/12/1978’ including the ‘/’s)
5) Enter your contact number preferably in ‘+65 81336913’ format where +65 is the country code for Singapore, +61 for Australia etc..
6) Enter your email address. (you can only register 1 member with 1 email, so if you have registered before with an email, you will not be able to re register even if you use a different username. No duplicate email addresses allowed)
7) Type in your preferred username. The system will prompt you if that username has been taken, if it has, try using numeric’s at the start or end of the username. (This username is unique to the system and you will not be able to edit it once you have successfully registered, to change your username after registration, you will need to contact the administrator)
8) Enter a password and then enter the same password to verify. (Passwords should be alphanumeric and at least 8 characters long)
Once all the * fields are completed, you may continue with the registration by clicking on ‘Register’ button at the bottom of the screen or scroll down and continue filling up the rest of the form.. |

The rest of the form is to facilitate the ease of the flight booking module. If you have your passport details in hand, this is highly recommended as it means that you will not have to fill up these details anymore when you book your flights with us.
1) Select your passport issuing country ( if your country is not listed in the drop down list, please notify us immediately)
2) Select your Nationality ( if your nationality is not listed in the drop down list, please notify us immediately)
3) Enter your home address (If your address is long, you can break it up in 2 lines, if not you can just fill up address 1 and leave address 2 blank)
4) Enter the postal code of your address
5) Enter your passport number (This number must have an exact match to your passport or your tickets will not be issued)
6) Enter the passport expiry date in dd/mm/yyyy format. (eg. If your expiry date is 7th Dec 2015, enter ‘07/12/2015’ including the ‘/’s)
7) Select a Frequent Flyer airline. If you do not have one, just leave it at ‘Not Applicable’
8) If you selected a Frequent Flyer airline, this is where you will enter the frequent flyer number.
9) Select your preferred meal request
10) Select Special services eg. Wheelchair etc if you require them
Click on ‘Register’ to proceed with the registration. |

If all the mandatory details were filled up, you should see a comment that the account has been created and an email has been sent with the activation codes. Check your email and click on the link to activate your account. You should save or print this email for future references. Keep it in a safe place.
If you did not receive an email, please contact us.
Some possible reasons you did not receive the email could be because :
- You entered your email address incorrectly, shoot the admin an email with your correct email address and we will fix it for you
- Your firewall/ spam guard has filtered the email as spam, check your junk mail
- Your email server is slow in receiving or has problems. Check with your ISP provider.
When you have clicked on the link provided in the email, you will be informed that your account has been successfully activated. You may now login. See step 2
NOTE: To combat spammers and bots that auto fill forms, all accounts that are not activated within a week will be deleted automatically, so make sure you register with a valid email account where you can receive and click on the activation code that we will send to you.
